Click the Users tab to access the pages for managing users and teams.

Various tasks such as inviting users, managing user invitations, editing user roles, and activating/deactivating users are all accomplished within this area.

The Users page is comprised of a user grid displaying all users associated with the project, in any status.

User Status Possibilities

  • Active - The user has registered and accessed the project.
  • Deactivated - The user has been deactivated by an admin and no longer has project access.
  • Expired - The user invitation has expired.
  • Draft - An invitation has been drafted for the user, but has not yet been sent.
  • Invited - The user has been sent an invitation, but has not yet accessed the project.

Features

  • Columns - Located at the far right of the user grid, click Columns to select and deselect the columns you want to display in the grid.
  • Filters - Also at the far right, click Filters to narrow the display and focus on specific information. Each of these filters can also be accessed by clicking the filter/funnel icons located directly below each column head. To remove selected filters, click Clear Filters in the options menu.
  • Change column order as desired by dragging/dropping column heads to arrange columns in the desired sequence.
  • Drag/drop column heads into the 'Drag here to set row groups' top row of the grid to display users grouped via the desired column attribute.

Actions

Available actions are accessible via the Add User and Export buttons. To display additional actions, from the grid select a user or users via checkbox to display the Modify and More Actions menus.

Functions

  • Add user
  • Export - Download a full or filtered user list.
  • Send Email - Select users via check box from the user list to email. If multiple users are selected, each receives a unique email with no copy list.
  • Send/Resend Invitations
  • Send Forgot Password - If users are unable to initiate their own password reset, admins can send them a link to facilitate the process by selecting the user via check box, then clicking this action button.
  • Modify - Remove access or edit drafted invitations.

Summary

Use User Management to add, invite, edit, organize, and remove project users. From the Users tab, administrators can manage user details, group membership, permissions, access rights, visibility, and user status to control who can access the project and what they can see or do.
