How do I bulk assign, categorize, and prioritize questions and answers in Q&A?

The Q&A Bulk Edit feature resides in the Q&A tab, and is accessed via the main Question List. The feature can be accessed by admins who are members of the Answer Team, and reviewers who are members of a Question Team.

Elements available for bulk edits include:

• Assign To
• Category
• Priority - Priority is associated with the far left column in the Question List; a red flag icon denotes 'High' priority, while a gray flag denotes 'Standard' priority

Category and priority elements can be bulk edited only prior to a question having been answered.

To bulk edit questions:

  1   Select one or multiple check boxes associated with questions you'd like to edit (note that while project admins can see all questions, check boxes for bulk editing are available only to project admin who are members of the Answer Team).

  2   The 'Actions' pane appears; using available drop-down menus make the desired selections.

  3   Click Save.

Additional buttons appear based on the rights of a particular user within their team. Options include:

• Submit to next level
• Submit to Question Team
• Submit to Answer Team
• Close Question(s)

Actions are available to users based on workflow rules. As a best practice, avoid selecting multiple questions with varying statuses.
