How do I upload a password-protected document?

Note: If you are uploading a document and aren't a Project Admin, contact them and provide the password so they can enter it for you in step 4.
 

  1. Upload files.
  2. In the main content grid, locate the file and scroll horizontally to the 'Status' column. Click the red 'Processing Failed' status text. 
  3. Enter the password in the field provided.
  4. Click Submit.

The document is viewable in the project to users who have been granted permission. However, when downloading:

  • If they are in a role that has Watermark PDF security, they download a PDF proxy document and view it locally
  • If they are in a role that has native access to the document, they must enter a password to open it locally
     

You can only select one document at a time to submit a password; each document needs it's own password submission.
