You can turn off email alerts on your project before replacing the document with a different version. 

Wait at least 24 hours after the replacement completes processing before turning on email alerts for the project. 

Here is how to turn off new document email alerts for all users on the project: 

  1. Go to the Settings Tab. 
  2. Find the Email Alerts card.
  3. Toggle it to Off.
