InformationBodyThe Convert to Excel app allows data in PDF, Word, PowerPoint, or image files (JPEG, JPG, TIFF, or PNG) to be automatically converted into an Excel file.Upon logging into Datasite, access the Marketplace tab located in the left sidebar.To convert PDF or image files to Excel: 1 In the Marketplace tab, within the Convert to Excel app tile, select Open (or if using for the first time select Try Now). 2 Drag and drop the file you'd like to convert into the file upload field, or click Add a File to navigate to a file and select it. 3 Conversion takes a few moments. After the spreadsheet has rendered, click Download. Alternately, select cells, copy, and paste them into a spreadsheet. 4 To convert additional documents click New Conversion and browse for a file. Alternately, select cells, copy, and paste them into a spreadsheet. Collapse and expand the left panel to see a larger view of the converted spreadsheet. In the collapsed view, create a new conversion with the + (plus) symbol. The newly converted file can now be accessed from your local Downloads folder, or your My Documents tab. The Excel output is fully editable. It is recommended that all converted data be thoroughly reviewed for accuracy and proper location placement within the resulting Excel file.
