Can I remove the watermark for some files only?

On screen:

The on-screen watermark is always visible for all users and for all documents unless watermarking is turned off in the Settings tab.

 

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. In the Watermark card on click the gear icon.
  3. Toggle off Display watermark text for document reviewers.
  4. Click Got it. 

 

When the on-screen watermark setting is enabled, it applies to the whole project.


Download watermarked PDFs:
 

You can remove the download watermark for individual documents by choosing Native File Download option per document. All users in roles assigned download permission for a file can download a file in its original format without a watermark.

 

To set a specific file to Native File Download:

 

  1. In the Documents tab select a file by clicking the checkbox to its left.
  2. Choose Modify > Allow Native File Download.
  3. Click Allow All.

 

Native File Download affects page-based files such as text documents, PDFs, and slide decks that are downloadable and, again, will affect all users who have permission to download the document.


Exception:
 

Excel files don't have a watermark on download and their preview window will always show an onscreen watermark regardless of the watermark settings in the Settings tab.
