What is a Fileroom?

Filerooms are the top-level folders on a project and are listed in the navigation pane on the left side of the Documents tab. Filerooms function as the active section of the project, where non-Administrative users, such as members of a prospective Buyer, review documents.

Datasite projects may have as many filerooms as are needed.

Each fileroom maintains its separate folder structure and index numbering system. They can hold up to 100,000 items such as folders, files, and placeholders.
