Users on question-asking teams have the ability to mass import questions via spreadsheet.

To use the Question Import feature:

  1   From within the Q&A tab, click Import.


  2   The Import Questions screen appears; click Download. The Datasite Q&A - Bulk Upload Template downloads.

 
 3   Fill out the template and save locally.

• ​​Question: Enter questions in this column, one question per line (Note: to avoid an import error, questions must be entered consecutively, with no empty rows appearing until the list is complete); there is no limit to the number of questions that can be added to the template
• Category: Choose a category using the drop-down options associated with each category cell. Available categories are dynamically populated according to categories available to your question asking team at the time and date the template was downloaded
• Priority: Choose 'Yes' or 'No'; if no priority is chosen, the default is 'No'

​  4   Return to the Import Questions window and click Choose File. Browse for the saved template and select it for import.

  5   Click Import. 

All questions are imported into Q&A in Draft status. Once the questions are imported, you will need to manually submit them from the Question List.

  6   Click Import. 

If there are errors in the upload, the row and reason for the error display. Any errors negate the entire import, and they must be fixed before re-attempting to import the question template.



Imported questions appear in the Answer Team Import row of the Question Team Question List panel.
