Prepare is a Datasite product designed to be used in conjunction with other Datasite platforms, namely:

• Diligence; and
• Outreach

​​​​​​As its name implies, Prepare can help you arrange and structure your data, whether you are in the initial phases of deal marketing (Outreach), or are actively preparing an asset sale or other transaction type (Diligence).

Prepare is a staging area, and operating capabilities match that of the Diligence Sandbox. Please reference the Sandbox Assist materials for functionality details.

Unlike the Diligence sandbox, however, Prepare exists as its own product entity, allowing a staging conduit that you can use in preparation to move into an active Outreach or Diligence project. Prepared materials move directly into your Diligence project upon launch, and remain within your Outreach project for easy collaboration and document management among team members.

Notably, content stored in Prepare is not billed, so you can build, collaborate, organize and structure your information in an environment that meshes seamlessly with both Outreach and Diligence.
