For invitees who aren't registered with Datasite the language of an invitation corresponds to the language selected on the invitation form by the sender.

The translation is only visible to the invitee. 

If either the body or subject of an invitation are modified the language choice is disregarded.

 

If an invitee is previously registered with Datasite they select their own preferred language for notifications. When registered users are invited to a new project their invitation language is set by this preference.

Again, if either the body or subject of an invitation are modified the language choice is disregarded.
