Question Team members that are Project Admins or users with manage permissions in Q&A can link documents that already exist in the data room to their questions and upload new documents within the Q&A tool.


Uploading a document is only available to Project Admins or users with manage permissions for a certain area. 

To link already uploaded documents to a drafted question or answer, please follow these steps:
 

1. From within the question, click on + Link existing file in the bottom left-hand corner. 
2. Expand the file rooms and folders until you reach the documents.
3. Tick the box(es) for the document(s) you wish to link to your question. 
4. Click Done. 

To upload a new file:
 

1. From within the question, select a Category.
2. Type a question.
3. Click Upload New File. 
4. Select where to upload a document.
5. Click Next.
6. Browse for or Drag and Drop a document.
7. Click Next.
8. Click Upload.

The uploaded document is unpublished and until it is published it is only visible to Project Admins and reviewers with manage rights. Some Answer Team members may not be Project Admins and may not be able to access the newly uploaded document until it is published.
