Reviewers can use the Mobile App to view documents on an iPhone, iPad, or Android device. For instructions on obtaining and installing the app, see Datasite Mobile App - Getting Started.

The login page opens when the app is launched. Log in using your Datasite username and password.

Navigation

Projects you can access via the app display on your Projects page upon login. Not all project administrators choose to enable the mobile app, so if you are a reviewer on several projects, some projects might not appear in your menu.

  1   Tap the menu icon located in the upper right to access User Information or to Log Out.

  2   Select a project to navigate to the associated fileroom(s), folders, and documents.

  3   From the fileroom listing, tap the options menu (3 dots) to access files previously marked as favorites, or new documents that have become available since your last login.

  4   To add or remove an item from your favorites selections, swipe left on the Index listing and tap Favorite or Unfavorite.
 

Finding files

You have several options to locate files you're interested in viewing:

• Browse
• Filters
• Search

Browse
Tap a folder a folder to view a listing of its contents.

Filters
Tap the fileroom you wish to explore. When the folder structure appears, select Filters at the upper right. Available filters include:

• Sort By - Newest to Oldest, Oldest to Newest, or Index (Index maintains the project index structure)
• Show Files From - All Time, Last Day, Last Week, Last Month
• Read/Unread - Display only unread files, only read files, or all files
• Show File Type - Choose a file type to display (PDF, Docx); this filter should be used within a folder or previously filtered file list, as it filters the current display (not the entire project/file room)

Search
Searches can be performed at the project level, or within the document viewer. For instruction regarding searching within the document viewer, see the Document Viewer section below. To search at the project level:

  1   Tap the magnifying glass located in the lower portion of your screen.

  2   Enter a search term. 

  3   A list of Title Matches appears; tap a title to display a listing of files that contain the searched term. To view a file in the returned list, tap the associated file icon.

Document Viewer

To open a file within the document viewer, tap the associated file icon. Within the viewer:

• Double-tap or pinch/unpinch to zoom in or out
• Swipe left to move to the next page
• Tap the bottom of a document to display:
  • Page counter
  • Page scroller
  • In-document search - Tap the magnifying glass to open a search window, enter a search term, then tap left and right navigation arrows to move through hits within the file
