Your project's Prospect Type is the type of target client you intend to track and communicate with as your project proceeds. The default prospect type for Outreach projects is 'Buyer', but the complete list of options includes:

• Buyer
• Creditor
• Lender
• Investor

Switching from 'Buyer' to another option changes your project interface and customizes text, including tab and button labels.

The help content articles in Datasite Assist® are written for a 'Buyer' project. However, the workflow process and procedure are identical, regardless of prospect type.

 

To customize your project prospect type:

 1   Select Details.

 2   Go to Project Profile > Project Overview > Prospect Type and click to display your options.

 3   From the display, choose the desired prospect type; your choice autosaves by clicking anywhere on the page or site.
