Admins or reviewers who have been assigned to the Answer Team can answer questions submitted from Question Teams.

Questions and answers are listed within the Q&A tab, in the Question List. Highlighted questions displaying a red flag icon have been marked as 'priority' by the asker. Items can be filtered using column headers and exported into a .xlsx file. Filters include:

• Number - Question Team name and question number
• Questions - Search for specific questions that contain desired search terms in question content; click the associated Expand toggle to see the entire question text (long questions are truncated in the standard view)
• Status - Filter to find questions in the following states:
  • All
  • In Progress
  • Unanswered
  • Answered
• Category - Only show questions within the chosen category
• Workflow Level - Displays where questions reside in the workflow sequence; use the 'Final Level' dropdown option to show only answers immediately pending submission to the Question team
• Workflow Group - Filter by the workflow group currently in possession of the question
• Assigned to - Filter by question assignee
• Last activity - Use column filters or calendar date picker to specify a day or date range
• Date submitted - Use column filters or calendar date picker to specify a day or date range

Use filters to customize your display. Columns can also be rearranged by clicking the column head and dragging the column to the desired location. Drag and drop a column all the way to the left or right to pin it and create a 'frozen' column that remains in view while scrolling horizontally.

Questions are answered by workflow groups, progressing through a multi-level workflow. A sidebar within each question view displays workflow levels, and where the question resides within the overall workflow. To answer a question:

• Save Draft - You can draft an answer and save it for further review by you or another member of your workflow group
• Reject - Rejected answers can be moved back to any previous workflow level, and assigned to all members of the workflow group, or an individual within the group - add comments to explain the rejection if desired
• Submit to -
  • Next Level: Submits the answer to the next workflow level. When submitting, choose whether you'd like to submit the answer to all members of the next level, or a designated individual. Only members within the workflow group designated for a workflow level are able to take action on an answer within that level - add comments if desired
  • Question Team: Submits the answer to the Question team. This action can only be taken once the workflow is completed, OR at any time in the workflow sequence by users who belong to all workflow groups in the workflow

Answers appear in the user interface, indented, below the original question.

Question categories can be changed at any time as long as the question answer thread is still open, using the 'Category' dropdown menu at the upper left of a question dialog box.

If Question Team members have additional questions or concerns, they may Reply to an answer to request additional information. The new question appears in the same window, creating a conversational thread.

To Assign Questions to an Answer Team Member:

  1  Select one or more questions via check box from the Question List; an Actions pane appears.

  2  Using the 'Assign To' drop-down menu, choose an Answer Team member.

  3  Click Save; all selected questions are now assigned to the chosen user.

Questions can also be assigned one at a time from within the question pane via the 'Assigned to' dropdown menu.
