Activate multi-factor authentication

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) provides an added layer of security to your project, requiring users to input a verification code to access a project (see Multi-factor authentication logging in). Codes are texted or sent to the user's email address, depending on user choice.

 

Datasite MFA is available on Diligence, Prepare, Acquire, and Pipeline projects, and is compatible with the Datasite mobile app and projects employing single-sign-on (SSO).

 

Admins can enable MFA at any time on any project by going to Settings > Multi-factor Authentication and clicking the toggle to activate MFA. To deactivate, click the toggle again.
