Things to consider when performing larger uploads:
  • Constant and stable internet
  • No security layer when transferring large amounts of data
  • Document transfer must be complete and successful for the system to be able to process the files
  • The system must scan/validate and report on all documents
  • Multiple users uploading to the same location
  • Do not:
    • Navigate away from the page
    • Close the browser
    • Refresh the browser
Our recommendation is to:
  • Perform smaller uploads, perhaps a few GBs, but only one batch of files at the time
  • Keep the upload wizard open until all files are uploaded and close automatically. When successfully uploaded an alert will display: “Upload Completed Successfully”
  • Contact us before a large upload. We can assist with best practices and even the upload
  • Coordinate between the uploaders if they are going to upload this amount of content and maybe do it in waves/shifts
  • It is advisable to perform the upload from your local C: drive. Network drive restrictions can hinder the upload
