By using the Comments column individuals can receive a notification for a tracker item.

 

To send a notification about a tracker item to another person or Team in your project:

 

1. Click a speech bubble icon in a Comments column cell.
2. Click in the field on the right Type comment here.
3. Type "@" to show a list of Users and Teams in the project.
4. Either select, or type a User name or Team.
5. Enter a comment.
6. Click Send.

Users receive an email with a link to the comment in the tracker at the frequency set in their account Notifications.
All Users in a Team receive a notification with an exception. If the sender is in the Team they won't receive an email notification.
