How do I delete a submitted Question?

Only unanswered question threads can be deleted. Members of the Answer team and the asking Question Team can delete a question which hasn't been answered yet, provided they belong to the designated workflow group with access to the question.

If a follow up question has been asked after an answer is received, the entire thread is considered answered and can't be deleted.

  1. Open the question you want to delete.
  2. Click Delete Question on the right panel.
  3. Select a required reason for deletion. If you chose Other a comment becomes required.
  4. Click Delete.
  5. The deleted question is listed in the Deleted Questions area on the Q&A tab.


Note: If questions are deleted which have drafted answers, the drafted answer text also disappears upon the question being deleted. That drafted answer is available to Project Admins in Analytics in the Q&A report.
