Users need to be invited to the project and granted permission to the specific folders to upload files to specific folders.

 

The Inbox allows people to send files to your project without giving them access to your project.

 

Here are steps to add email addresses to a list of people who can send attachments to your project:

 

1. Open the tab Settings.
2. In the Inbox card, click the gear icon.
3. Select Active, registered users and approved senders below 
4. Add an email address and click Save.
5. Click Copy Inbox Address to copy the project-specific Inbox Address and share it with them.

 

When they send an email with an attachment to your project, only attachments are uploaded to your project. The email body and subject line are not shown.

When the sender has forwarded the attachment an email confirmation will be sent to them, indicating that the attachment has been received. 

 

Notes:

• Only Project Admins can see the Inbox and manage the received contents
• Files in the Inbox are not billable
• Sent files appear in the Documents tab > Shortcuts > Inbox
