Documents that have a disclaimer present on them will not be viewable or searchable to the user until they accept the disclaimer. A Project Admin may add a Disclaimer by following the quick steps below:
 

1. Select a document by ticking the checkbox to the left of the document in the Documents tab.
2. Click More Actions > Add Disclaimer.
3. If desired, edit the default disclaimer.
4. Click Add Disclaimer.

Notes:

• This is only available on Diligence and Acquire. (Adding the disclaimer is allowed in Prepare projects and will be viewable by users to accept when the project converts to a Diligence project
• After the user has accepted the disclaimer, the document will be available to them without needing to accept the disclaimer again (and the frequency cannot be adjusted for acceptance).
• Disclaimer acceptance is not required for Project Admins and Reviewer with Manage rights accessing the document
• Disclaimer content can be adjusted, removed or re-added at any time
• Document preview is not available on a document that has a disclaimer
• Searching content in your project will not produce results from a document where the disclaimer is present but has not been accepted yet by the user performing the search
• Folders can't have disclaimers
