What is the difference between a project and a folder?

A project is a named container for a data room which has filerooms and folders. Projects are visible on the Projects page and on the Home page.

A folder is inside a data room and is the smallest container in a data room. It has files and perhaps other folders inside.

 

There are no charges for folders in an existing data room. You can have many folders or filerooms and it doesn't impact billing. 
The files added to folders is what impacts billing.
