InformationBody When uploading, moving, or duplicating files, Project Admins are presented with the following choices of permissions options:When uploading new files or folders: Inherit destination permissions settingsSet to hidden When moving or duplicating existing files or folders: Maintain current permissions settingsInherit destination permissions settingsSet to hidden While taking any of the actions listed above, you'll notice default permissions settings have already been selected. These settings can be easily changed by selecting any of the alternative options presented.If standard default settings are not consistent with your preferences, you can save a click or two by changing the default settings. Note that changing these defaults is project-wide, and is also implemented for other members of your admin team who might be uploading, moving, and duplicating content.To change default permissions settings: 1 Access the Settings tab. 2 In the Default Permissions card, click the gear icon. 3 Choose your desired settings. In the top section select defaults for: Move in the IndexCopy in the Index In the bottom section select defaults for: UploadAddingMove from InboxMove from SandboxRestore from Recycle BinReviewers with Manage Permissions UploadReviewers with Manage Permissions Add a Folder or Placeholder 4 Click Save. Saved default permissions settings are now automatically pre-selected when performing uploads, moves, and copies. Project Admins can still choose from all available options to override defaults on a per-action basis. When Project Admins perform any of the above actions, they see the option to change the default permission settings. Reviewers with Manage Permissions can't update their settings.When uploading new files in Q&A, Default Permissions also apply.
