Your device may need to be charged before use for 30-60 minutes by inserting into a powered USB port.

Once charging has been completed, remove the device from the USB port and carefully follow instructions below to unlock with the user PIN. Please ensure the device is not plugged into the USB port when performing the below steps.

1. Your datAshur PRO² device must first be in Standby State (solid RED LED) to be able to unlock with the provided User PIN. To do this, press and hold down the SHIFT (↑) button for one second.
2. In a standby state (solid RED LED), press and hold down both the SHIFT (↑) + KEY buttons simultaneously. RED LED switches to all LEDs, RED, GREEN and BLUE blinking on and off. This step must be completed within 30 seconds.
3. Enter user PIN and press the KEY button. This step must be completed within 10 seconds. The RED, GREEN and BLUE blinking LEDs change to alternating GREEN and BLUE LEDs, then to a solid GREEN LED indicating drive successfully unlocked in user mode.
4. Insert the device into a USB port within 30 seconds of the light turning solid GREEN.

If steps 2, 3 and 4 are not completed within the allotted time, the device reverts to a standby state, and you will have to resume from step 2.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Failure to enter the correct PIN 10 consecutive times automatically deletes the contents of the drive.

If you receive a 'device not recognised' message after plugging in the USB, it's possible that access to the port has been locked. Please check with your IT team for support.
