The Analytics tab displays interactive filterable reporting data detailing project activity. Upon accessing the area, a landing page displays available reports. Click a report tile to see a report grouping. From there, additional reports can be navigated to via tabs in the left sidebar.

Data is updated/refreshed several times hourly. Information is categorized across a series of reports, grouped according to function in the left drawer options menu. Each report has interactive cards and tables that have varying controls based on their data.

Filters

Filters are displayed at the top of each report. Common filters display horizontally with titles across your report view, while less common filters appear behind the More Filters button. Filters are applied immediately upon selection.

The Roles filter - For best results we recommend selecting all filters and then deselecting Project Admin.

You can save filtered views. Saved filtered views are attached to your personal account and do not affect the view of other users.

Save a filtered view

1. Filter a report.
2. Select Save Filtered View.
3. Edit the name of the filtered view as desired.
4. Click Save.

You can also update an existing filtered view or save changes as a new view. Saved filtered views appear on both the Analytics landing page and in the left navigation drawer within reports.

In the left navigation bar, click the options menu (three dots) associated with a saved filtered view to export, rename, or delete the item.

Visual displays

Hover over visual elements, or cards, for additional information. Most cards contain clickable elements that exhibit granular data pertaining to your selection. Click Maximize element or Minimize element double sided arrows in the upper right to expand and contract the view of the card, or press the spacebar to toggle your view.

In table cards, drag headers left and right to reorder columns.

Distribute reports

Export and download

Click Export > Export to download or email a PDF, Excel, or image of a report to any group of desired recipients. Email does not include a copy list, so recipients are unaware of other receivers. All reports within a tab are available for download/email. See How do I download or email a report from Analytics?.

Some sub-reports (tiles) can be exported from the tile itself. Hover over the tile, then click the options menu (3 dots) to reveal whether or not an export option exists for the tile. If a tile does not show this option, the report can still be downloaded or emailed using the Export > Export method above.

Report exports can also be scheduled to be sent automatically at the desired intervals.

Create scheduled report deliveries from within a report

1. Click Export.
2. Select Schedule Export.
3. Enter recipient email addresses (no copy list will be visible), and customized subject line and message if desired.
4. Choose the frequency and format.
5. Click Save.

To review a list of scheduled emails for the selected report, click Export > View all schedules. This only reveals scheduled emails for the currently selected report. To delete a scheduled delivery, select the trash can icon. Only the creator of a scheduled delivery may delete a saved scheduled delivery.

File and folder title link behavior

The file and folder titles in the Content Engagement and Change History reports are links that behave as follows:

• Clicking file links opens files in the document viewer, in a separate tab.
• Clicking folder links brings the user to the Documents tab, with folder contents displayed in the main panel.
• Reviewers with access to Analytics receive an error if trying to open a file they do not have permissions to see.
• Admins and users in roles with with Analytics Feature Access receive errors when attempting to open Download Only files, files in the Recycle Bin, or Deleted files.

• Priority - True or False. If True is chosen, only data pertaining to priority questions displays.

Trackers

• Fileroom Name - Choose from any combination of available filerooms.
• Tracker Name - Choose any combination trackers; if your desired tracker doesn't appear in the filter, be sure the associated fileroom is selected in the 'Fileroom Name' filter.

  • File Name - Email address of the Project Admin who made the change.

  • Index - Select any combination of index positions.
  • Content ID - Filter by Analytics team.
  • Published Status - All items, or choose only published or unpublished.
