Categories are available for all Datasite products and project types that have a fileroom, Inbox, or Sandbox.

When files are uploaded to your project, files are scanned automatically assigned a category and a sub-category. Category assignment helps assist with and confirm correct file placement within your Index structure.

When using this feature, you may find it useful to designate a single folder at the bottom of your folder structure for all initial uploads (example title: Upload Folder). Once categorization is complete, then move files as suggested or desired.

• Each file is assigned relevant categories that display in the 'Categories' column. This column is visible to all users
• To view both categories assigned to an item, click the +1 category bubble
